Why is it ramping up now? What the hell has changed (and don't cite an increase in violence in Central America, thats a guess at best and not supported by any facts)?
Why do I get the notion that something is in the wind?

I suspect your notion is spot on accurate.
The fact that Obama has decreed that the minors have U.S. "lawyers" should tell us something besides why a stereotypically spineless, no-military-service profession that is less than 2% of the U.S. workforce is over 50% of Congress (60% of the Senate alone).
Go figure how voters can be so blinded by acts and infatuated by empty words.
Vigilis, yeah something really stinks. How many parents are going to let their kids just walk off into a strange country? Not only that, these kids are supposedly from nations south of Mexico, which has a VERY dim view of illegals entering their country. So how do they safely transit across Mexico to our southern border. It doesn't add up.
