Gee Wally, do ya think our government might be pulling the wool over our eyes? Or trying to?

IMHO one of the leadership problems we currently have is the inability to see that Mexico is no ally of ours. At best they've been a grudging neighbor that will only tolerate us because we're clearly able to clean their clocks if sufficently provoked. Here's a question for you, what has Mexico ever done to demonstrate good will towards the United States?

(Sound of crickets chirping).

I recall a news story that came out several months after 9/11. An American middle school had made it to the international playoffs for soccer, being held in Mexico. When they took the field the stadium audience began to chant, "OH-SAM-AH, OH-SAM-AH".
