Whats good for the goose is good for the gander...
No doubt you've already seen this little gem, it's making the rounds. Below it is an article from www.ktla.com out in Los Angeles;
LOS ANGELES -- A poster showing President Barack Obama as Heath Ledger's "Joker" character from "The Dark Knight" is creating a stir on the streets of Los Angeles where the image began appearing over the weekend.
The Obama-Joker poster shows President Obama with white face paint, dark eye shadow and smudged red lipstick and also has the word "socialism" printed in bold, dark letters under the image of his face.
It's unclear who created the image and who is posting it across the city. No one has taken credit so far.
Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable President Earl Ofari Hutchinson is calling the depiction, politically mean spirited and dangerous.
Hutchinson is challenging the group or individual that put up the poster to have the courage and decency to publicly identify themselves.
"Depicting the president as demonic and a socialist goes beyond political spoofery," says Hutchinson, "it is mean-spirited and dangerous."
"We have issued a public challenge to the person or group that put up the poster to come forth and publicly tell why they have used this offensive depiction to ridicule President Obama."
The poster has also gone viral online, crashing the website that first posted images of it and rising to the top of Google's "Today's Hot Trends" list.
What got my attention was the colossal amount of gall it must have taken to label this "...mean-spirited and dangerous." after eight years of the vilification that Bush took. Bush was labeled everything under the sun including; an active alcoholic who hid his drinking from public eye, a coward who got out of "real" military service through family connections, a war mongering racist, a plain old racist, an idiot who needed Carl Rove and the like to prop him up, etc. and etc.
I won't even touch some of the things mentioned about his wife and daughters. But I will mention that the original story line for Comedy Central's "Thats My Bush" had the twin daughters cast as lesbians. Heard anything like that about the daughters of B.O.? Me neither.
Now supporters of B.O. are shocked, shocked I say to hear that someone is trashing their icon!
Welcome to politics as it gets practiced outside of Chicago, folks. It's a rough game and you need to wear your rhino hide underwear to work every day.

Thought this might be something that might interest you....
I doubt that use of intimidation tactics will surprise you much from BO
Things are just starting to get rowdy for Obongo and his Circus Czars. This will get better as more and more people dig their heads out of their asses and realize what this clown is doing.
Rev. Gregori, right on target!
VSO, yep. Seems they can dish it out but not take it.
Amy, intimidation tactics from this man and his supporters don't surprise me at all. As I understand Chicago politics, it's par for the course. Now that they're in a bigger pond they're finding out big fish are a dime a dozen and those intimidation tactics will only work for so long without some kind of modification. My biggest worry in that area is that they'll figure out exactly what to do.
Sig94, if enough folks can get onboard fast enough and B.O.'s folks don't figure out how to adjust their tactics, we might just see his ONLY term in office become a historic train wreck. I mean that last in ways not yet apparent.
Because it's already a train wreck.
