And now, a word from Big Brother...
Found this at the Weekly Standard website via Lucianne.com , I've underlined the portion that really caught my eye.
White House Looking for Informants
An email from Pounder in the GOP House Whip's Office:
ALL: This morning, the White House posted on their blog a note asking Americans to report anything they get or see about health care reform “that seems fishy.” We’ll keep sending stuff out but if we stop…
From the White House website…http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/Facts-Are-Stubborn-Things/
There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.
Is my taste for tinfoil hats showing or is this asking all the good proles to keep an eye on their comrades? In all fairness, I recall similar requests being made by the Bush Administration after 9/11/01. But theres a hell of a difference between trying to stop terrorist acts and sniffing out bloggers who don't drink Kool-Aid.

I reported my 85-year old Republican mother to flag@whitehouse.gov and asked them to "straighten her out". She said she was against euthanasia for the elderly in lieu of costly medical treatment.
I just posted on this. It's scary beyond words. "Causal conversation???" WTF does that mean? We supposed to wire up before going to a cocktail party??????
