Update on the conscience clause repeal...
Since my post last week regarding B.O.'s repeal of the conscience clause for healthcare workers, I've been looking for an update on either of the following sites;
http://www.regulations.gov/search/index.jsp
http://www.hhs.gov/
According to the original story, http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/02/27/AR2009022701104.html?hpid=topnews , the repeal would be posted and available for public comment this week. So far, no dice.
If anyone has information regarding this, drop a comment. From my perusal of the sites linked above there was a fair amount of comment generated when the clause was instituted. Since the idiots in D.C. work for us, it's only proper we get our two cents heard.
But for that to happen we'll need to know when they're taking the comments. Since this administration likes doing things in a less than above board manner, prolifers need to stay on top of things.
