Cain and a 13 year affair...

As I predicted, the allegations against Herman Cain have increased in their severity. First it was "sexual harassment" in the workplace. When that didn't fly a bimbo conveniently came forward to allege an attempt at date rape, that flew like a lead balloon also. Now another SBGS (sperm belching gutter slut) comes into the spotlight to accuse him of having an affair with her of 13 years duration. Five gets you ten that'll also turn out to be extremely questionable.

Whoever wants him out is so blatant in upping the ante as time goes by that it isn't even funny. This stinks to high heaven. The steady progression in the level of immorality implied is so apparent that it's counterproductive. Why is this happening to Cain, why is he so obviously the focus? Is he seen as a threat to B.O. due to the fact of their shared skin color? Nobody can effectively play the race card when both contenders are as black as the ace of spades.

I support Cain, mostly for the fact that he IS NOT a politician. His gaffes and admitted ignorance are refreshingly human. His views on the OWS bums, abortion, muslims, etc. are straight from the shoulder, unvarnished, blunt and unequivocal. I have no grasp of economics, so all I can say about the "9-9-9" plan is that it sounds good.

All of what I just listed would be seen as liabilities in times past. As an example; remember how Steve Forbes and his ideas for tax reform were jeered into silence? From what I see there isn't much difference between him and Cain there. In past elections the attitude towards outsiders like Cain seemed to be "ignore him and he goes away". Why isn't Cain being ignored? If he can turn these allegations back on his accusers it'd really give him a boost. Why is that possibility seemingly ignored?

Somebody is uneasy about him. It'd be interesting to know who and why. The obvious playing on the old stereotype of the sex crazed black man is a risky ploy. Whoever is calling the shots on this smear campaign better be careful, it could all blow up in their collective face.

So what comes next? Accusations of a menage a trois with Flora & Fauna Amor of the Addams Family?

There was a story about this noted on facebook; in the story was a quote from Ms. White:
"It bothered me that they were being demonized, sort of, they were treated as if they were automatically lying, and the burden of proof was on them,” White said. “I felt bad for them.”

To which I replied:
"Guess what, Ma'am: the burden of proof is on the accuser!"

The woman is obviously assuming that any such accusation is automatically true, and the accused must prove himself innocent. So far have we come.

There is no way this affair allegation is legit. The man would never have run in the first place if he was conducting an affair--he'd have known it would come to light, and far sooner than this.

What is being done to him, and to the voting public, is disgusting. He obviously is a threat that someone is desperate to remove. My guess is that it has to do with him being the sole black candidate apart from Obama, and thus capable of drawing a significant number of votes away from Obama.

I must agree. The 'logic' of all these attacks on Cain is coming not from the women making the accusations, but a politically-connected lawyer.

Before she was elected as SC's governor, Nikki Haley was accused of 4 adulterous affairs by political operatives. Evidence was not provided, and she won.

Apparently, lawyers believe elected offices are their province alone nowadays. Neither Cain nor Haley is a lawyer, by the way.

Newt has to be next. Wonder what bogus allegations these lawyers will conjure up to attack him.

Of course, trial lawyer ties to Hollywood scriptwriters (ever counted the number of lawyer shows on the networks) helps with such fictions.

The Lawyer-Political Complex is not a fiction. Its unheralded existence has allowed lawyers to attain a huge conflict of interest.

Old Bob, that standard only applies to non Democrats. For proof just look to "Slick Willie" and the trail of bimbos that followed him along his campaign. Talk about Teflon and nothing sticking to him, that guy was amazing!

Random Thoughts, "disgusting" is just a start in describing the smear tactics. Like yourself I believe his skin color is a major factor in the animosity directed towards him.

Vigilis, you might be onto something. I've just thought it was because Cain was black AND conservative that he generated so much animosity. But maybe not being a lawyer and part of "the club" has something to do with it also.

MRG, somebody is sure paying out some cash for all of this. Soros is as likely as any other.
