They never warn you about this sort of thing........
I work the night shift.
So for this reason I normally go to bed about the time my two sons, aged 4 & 2 1/2 go down for their naps. Often I'll check them before retiring, especially if it's obvious they're tearing the room up rather than sleeping.
Today I looked in and the younger one had taken off all his clothing to run around in "the all together" as my father would have phrased it. He stopped long enough to empty his bladder against his bed. His mother came in, promising to remedy the situation so I went to sleep. I don't need this stuff!
When I woke up at 8 pm the first words I heard were, "You want your coffee first or can you talk about something serious?".
After diving for the java I was told #1 son had knocked a tooth loose and needed to go to the dentist first thing Monday morning.
Never a dull moment.
When I worked in a shipyard up north they discovered a former employee there living down by the dry dock area. I've finally figured out why he did it, he valued the peace and quiet of sleeping next to the foundry.
