The quote that got my attention was,"I'm 64 years old now, and I'm tired of violence."

That, to me, is indicative of their true problem. They don't like how life is so they'll stick their heads in the sand (or up their ass) and pretend everything is different. Can you say "denial"?

I'm not too thrilled about a lot of things either. Pretending problems don't exist won't make them go away.

And since Cain killed Abel we've always had violence in our makeup. Always have, always will. Deal with it!
