The Chair is vacant....

Now we await the selection of a new Pontiff. Maybe we'll get a strong warrior to lead us against the various threats of our age, maybe we'll get a scourge to chastise us for the way we've fallen short of what we could do as Catholics. Maybe the next Pope will be entirely outside all popular expectations, fears and desires.
