Voris on hypocritical "professional Catholics"
He very eloquently states my own thoughts about the entire sordid mess. The only thing missing is a reference to the Eighth Commandment, how it's defined in the Catechism and it's application here.
"I know thy works, that thou art neither cold, nor hot. I would thou wert cold, or hot. But because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold, nor hot, I will begin to vomit thee out of my mouth." Revelation 3:15-16

so much to fret about..will come back to watch the vid soon as I have 2 seconds~! ...Have an awesome weekend~!
And Michael Voris isn't a professional Catholic?
What - he doesn't make any money from the 10/bucks a month he charges for premium access to website? He doesn't make a money from the DVD's he sells? He isn't charging the people who are having him come speak in Ireland and England - and he's bearing the cost himself?
What a guy!
WHT, thanks and same to ya.
MRG, he really hits the nail on the head.
Anonymous, the issue isn't who is/isn't a "professional Catholic". The issue is how so many of them have piled onto John Corapi. They all need to take a look at what the Catechism has to say about the 8th Commandment.
I saw that video today and thought it was well stated. I was so sad to see the pile-on that Father Corapi was taking (sorry, I can't help but still call him "Father Corapi").
Everything I've ever heard him preach about, was exactly the teachings of the Catholic Church..he never swayed, he never put his own spin on it, he completely towed the line of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. It's sad to see him go.
I'll certainly miss hearing him on Relevant Radio. I'm happy that I have a few copies of his talks. I always come away with a little more wisdom after listening to them.
Mary Ellen/Nunly, I also enjoyed listening to him. Regarding his suspension and subsequent actions, I'll keep my opinion to myself. But it HAS been despicable how so many in the Catholic blogosphere cheerfully piled onto the man.
It says more about them than about him.
