Shirley Sherrod: my two cents.
Proof positive that no matter how rock bottom solid a story may seem, it pays to wait a couple of days and check out other sources for it. That applies to Breitbart, B.O. & Co., the NAACP, etc.
That's all. What more do you expect for two cents?

There's no doubt in my mind that the NAACP is a racist organization. I also think there's no doubt that this snippet of a video was a dishonest attempt at proving that racism.
But the fact of the matter is, the NAACP brought this can of racist whoop-ass on themselves when they claimed that the Tea Party was a racist organization.
Obama will stay away from this one because he knows his polls are tanking big time and he can't afford to have the numbers go lower. The race card has been over-played and people are sick of it. I sure am.

Mary Ellen, amen to all of that. The charge of racism has lost a good bit of it's bite due to overuse. That removes a major weapon from the armory of political libs.
As my latest post declared (at least $5.00 worth) - I thought the whole thing was a big distraction. I never bothered to read anything about it or watch the video (still haven't, either) and boring as hell. Maybe if Shirley had made her comments in the nude it might have been interesting.
Our county is being taken over and trashed, We need to be taking steps to protect ourselves as best we can, not watching silly videos.

Yupper shipmate, Fox and O'Reilly REALLY screwed up on that one, however, I gotta give him credit because he apologised and admitted their mistake last night on his show. Something I haven't seen the "Yellow Stream Media" do when they FU.

WHT, no argument about them all being racists. This event just points out the importance of checking sources for news stories & blog posts.
