It's showtime for B.O. and God help the hostages...
I just read on the Drudge Report that the Somali pirates seized a Danish ship with 24 American crewmembers. Since the Somalis are muslim and Somalia is sympathetic to Al Queda this doesn't bode well for the hostages.
Lets keep them in our prayers.
Now we find out if our Chief Executive has the steel to adequately meet the demands of his office. I hope that all his detractors, including myself, are proven wrong.
UPDATE: Now Drudge has a report that the crew managed to retake the ship. Sure hope this is the straight dope.

any word on the captain? the radio said he was being held hostage in a life boat, but didn't go into details.
sounds like a good time to get out the chains and wrap them around the captured pirates, and introducing them to davy jones.
