Voting for the economy
Some of the news sites I go to plus a few radio stations have published findings that the Obama victory could be traced to anxiety over the economy. Shit.
Not the war in Iraq & Afghanistan.
Not the plight of the unborn.
Nor illegal immigration and how to handle it.
Nope, seems most of Obama's support came from folks worried about their 401K and their job. Fear for the economy in a country where the poorest suffer from an "epidemic" of obesity.
(And could someone explain how obesity becomes an epidemic? Do people go to bed all fit & hardbodied only to wake up in the morning, look in the mirror and scream, "My God! I gained fifty pounds in my sleep, I'm a lardass, honey call the doctor real quick! HELP!!)
What a bunch of spineless, selfcentered, pampered overgrown adolescents we've become.
Other bloggers have stated we're in line for an Old Testament style butt whipping. This lends it a lot of credibility.

The ignorant vote their pocket books every time. They don't understand or care to understand someday we are going to run out of good soldiers and sailors and then....the old fashioned butt whipping will be theirs!
Amen Pops, amen.
thank you for being your usual cheerful self darling!
There is a HUGE portion of this country that needs to be taken to the woodshed.
The majority of the boomers, slackers, Gen X Gen Y. All want the instant gratification and a payoff without any sweat off the brow.
Obama in Office is the the shining example of a message of "HOPE" (IE. blowing smoke up your A$$) because if we talk enough about it someone will come along and make it better.
The lesson our countrymen have lost out on is that success is achieved by 1 percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration. You have to work hard and sweat your keister off to be good. To be great, you have to go above that.
Things will only get worse before J.C. returns so "rig for Sea" and stand by for hard times and heavy seas.

I voted for what I thought was right. If right and wrong are subject to a vote--I don't know what's right any longer. I'd be materially better off with Obama as my Leader and Redeemer, but I'd rather go to heaven.
I know a certain blogger who has been stocking up on beans, rice, powdered milk, etc. And it might be smart, if you enjoy shooting sports, to buy ammo now before the Obamanations 500% proposed ammo tax gets passed.
You never know when you might need a couple hundred rounds of 9mm.
If we just "quit" in Iraq,as we did in Vietnam, how many volunteer soldiers do you think we will have in the "next war" and there will be one.Unless we all start praying to the EAST....or is it west,I usually do it looking Up!
