Mandatory organ donation!

In a recent post a commenter questioned my revulsion at the idea of "savior siblings". These are children conceived primarily to supply a needed item such as bone marrow for an older, less healthy child.

I tried to make the point that once we accept the mindset of using children as nothing more than a utilitarian object to be used as we saw fit, there is no real limit to where it will take us.

The article linked here illustrates that particular point.

Someone else recently addressed it much better than I. They said that once you start devaluing life in any area (speaking about abortion) you begin to devalue it across the board.

Taken to it's logical conclusion, we would have a society where some government chair polisher would decide who would live and who would die, all based on another cube ape's supposedly objective criteria.
