"Lipstick on a pig" thoughts.
I have two observations to make about Obama's speech;
1) His speechwriters are either dumber than a box of rocks or secretly working to help Hillary in 2012. Putting that pharse in a speech so close in time to Gov. Palin's own, "What's the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull? Lipstick!" comment is just asking for trouble. It doesn't matter if any slight against Palin was/was not intended. The potential for trouble should have been blindingly evident to all.
2) Obama is showing his own arrogance in delivering that line. He's a professional politician for crying out loud, the potential I just mentioned should have been even more apparent to him. He either thought it would play well to all the "little people" in his audience with no consequences to him or he is just brain dead.

I think nothing of it. But yeah, he should've avoided it.
I thought it odd for a man of " my Muslim faith", his words not mine, to mention a pig in general, after all aren't pigs a dirty animal to people of "my Muslim faith" and an insult. Which may be why he said it, Anyway shape or form just plain STUPID, on his part.
I think the speech writer is working for Hillary the Hun.
Nah, it wasn't stupid, not a mere slip-up, not anything so innocent as that...
Asinine Arrogance
That's what it was. That's the kind of threat we face in B. Hussein Obama.
Outright stupidity on the part of Obama....do we REALLY want this in office? I can see it now, him slipping up on national tv on North Korea, and bang, the start of WWIII
I don't think it waqs tupidity--I think it was arrogance. I think that he believes we all love him so much that we'll just swallow whatever he says.
I also think that he truely believes that most Americans are just plain stupid--after all, we aren't brights, we love kids and we go to church and own guns!
