Winston Churchill must be rolling over in his grave.
The Brits march on like lemmings over a cliff, determined to commit cultural suicide.
Now if they REALLY want some perspective they should go talk to survivors of the Bataan Death March, maybe get some first hand accounts of the Rape of Nanking and end up with some video interviews of survivors from the attack on Pearl Harbor. THEN they might have a good perspective of the war in question.
Just my opinion but what the hell do I know? I'm just a retired turd chaser.

I'm so sick of hearing about Hiroshima. We don't hear much about the Japanese use of biological warfare--including failed attempts to use it against the US. Or a lot of other things.
But here's a bit of historical trivia that can put the decision to bomb Hiroshima and nagasaki in perspective:
After estimating the number of casualties we would inccure during Operation Downfall (the invasion of Mainland Japan) the Military ordered a production run of Purple Hearts (remember that KIAs get one, too.)
what became of that production run? Well, after Korea, the small fracas' in the 50s, Vietnam, the couple of little skirmishes in the 70s, the 80s expeditions, The gulf War, and the Iraqi Campaign and the Afganistan Campaign--we're still issueing those medals. We've used up less than half.
Hey IR, I BELIEVE it!
Don't forget the way the Japanese treated POW's and the Chinese and Koreans. They hate the Japanese for A REASON. Hey I admire Japanese society and culture but gimme a break! It was an act of war! Buck up. At this rate the multi-cultural fascists will hand over Britain to the jihadists in no time.
VSO, sad but true. Arthur is supposed to return to England in it's hour of need. Wherever he is, he'd better be saddling up.
