Sex ed for 5-6 year olds?
Absolutely nuts!
I remember when teaching sex ed in high school was a big controversy. The arguments against it included;
a) increased promiscuity amongst teens,
b) increased risk of STD's,
c) increased number of teen moms.
Gee, sure am glad none of that came to pass.

I have been stewing this over in my head trying to figure out what the goal is...all I can think of is the liberal freak fest and the idea that we all should come into our own*sexuality*
Again sick sick sick
Jennifer, I don't know for certain but when I look at the liberal mindset it seems like they go through life with blinders on.
To use another example, look at how they attack the problems with the illiteracy brought on by public education. They throw money at it, when that doesn't work they throw more money at it, when it still doesn't work they'll claim the problem has gotten worse and then (you guessed it) throw even more money at it. This inability to learn from one's own mistakes is called insanity by some. Seems like the name fits!
In the case of sex ed, they found out that teen pregnancies and other problems mushroomed after sex ed got taught in the schools. So the solution seems to be to indoctrinate the children at an earlier age because, by golly, the problem is worse than originally believed and requires it. No thought whatsoever that their solution just "might" be a part of the problem.
Like I said, blinders.
My God...let em have their childhood fer God's sake....
Amen Cookie, that says it all in a nutshell.
