New York children taught to "go gay".
I've thought for some time that the current push for "tolerance" of gays will advance to the point that you're deemed a homophobe if you don't have at least one same sex encounter at some time in your life.
It appears they're grooming our children for that now: http://www.poughkeepsiejournal.com/article/20130417/NEWS01/304160055/Anti-bullying-lesson-puts-parents-edge-Red-Hook?nclick_check=1
It's tied into the "anti-bullying" program, big surprise right?
The defenders of this garbage are casting it in the light of teaching students how to resist unwanted advances, I don't understand why a scenario involving homosexuality has to be included. Saying "no" is the same if you're straight, gay or not quite sure.
But by having the role playing involve a homosexual advance it seems to me that the implication of complete normalcy in the students sexual orientation is made. THAT would be contrary to what a lot of religiously devout parents would be teaching their kids. For that reason alone the parents deserved notice of what was planned.
However if you want to undermine that sort of parental guidance, notifying "Mom and Dad" would be counter productive.
