Riots if Obama loses?

Stop. Just. Stop.

There aren't going to be any riots should "The One" lose. I really have my doubts about him losing, in a fair & square election that wouldn't happen. But I believe Obama's team are capable of anything. They're typified by a "ends justifies the means" mentality" so anything could happen and I won't feel good until Romney is actually in office.

But riots should he lose? Give. Me. A. Break.

I don't believe it because everything I've come across casts these "riots" in a racial light. Rodney King, Watts, etc. get mentioned. The implication seems to be a lot of pissed off black folk will yield to their uncontrollable urges to destroy something when they don't get their way. C'mon, this is the flip side of what we saw with Bush Derangement Syndrome (BDS) and all the zipperheads that promised to move to Canada or other parts of the world if GW won out over Kerry.

We should have found a way to hold them to that promise. Talk about a golden opportunity lost....

Oh well, back to this insanity.

I don't believe it because I've known too many blacks who would think you're out of your mind to even think of rioting FOR ANY REASON!! My neighbor is black, a good portion of my church is black (including the assistant pastor), a lot of the wife's former coworkers are black. Our son's teacher is so black she glows (almost). I don't see a single one of these people running into the street to raise hell if the election goes to Romney. End of story.

Let's move beyond the racial stereotypes, okay?

The whole damned idea of riots because Obama loses the election is an insult to any thinking person's intelligence.

As for the white supporters of our current President? They're so stupid if you said "Hello" they'd be stuck for an answer. No riots there either.
