Gee Ma, why not have the kids recite OUR Pledge of Allegiance in Spanish? How about something from the Cristero War? THAT last is a part of Mexican history and their culture, why not go with that?
This is just so fubar that words to describe it fail me.
I'm surprised some of thos estudents didn't just sit there and refuse--after all, the children of leftist parents do that for the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem here

ReplyDeleteAnd probably the only way they could object to saying the Mexican pledge is if the pledge included the mention of God. You know, we wouldn't want to offend our atheist Mexican friends...
