Two prayers....

God's will be done and may He have mercy upon us all.

About Me

My photo
A Catholic who follows Rome & the Magisterium. I'm against gay "marriage", abortion, embryonic stem cell research, euthanasia, human cloning. Altar girls, Communion in the hand, Eucharistic Ministers and "Protestant" music in the Church doesn't bother me at all. A proud American retired submarine sailor. Our borders should be secured with a 10 ft. high fence topped by concertina wire with minefields out to 20 yards on both sides and an additional 10 yards filled with warning signs outside of that Let's get energy independent NOW! Back Israel to the max, stop appeasing followers of the Pedophile Prophet. Pro 2nd Amendment, pro death penalty, Repeal all hate crime legislation. Back the police unless you'd rather call a hippie when everything hits the fan. Get government out of dealing with education, childhood obesity and the enviornment. Stop using the military for sociological experiments and if we're in a war don't micromanage their every move. Kill your television, limit time on the computer and pick up a book. God's will be done and may He have mercy upon us all.

Another family to remember in prayer...

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - This is the story about the power of love, the strength of community, and the indomitable will to live.

In a nine-day span, both Nathan Bond, 38, and his wife, 36-year-old Elisa, learned that they have advanced cancer. Nathan found out on Valentine’s Day.

Nathan has Stage 3 colorectal cancer. He has been given given a 60% chance of surviving five years or more. Elisa has Stage 4 breast cancer and has just a 16% chance of surviving five years.

Just 18-months-ago, the couple celebrated the birth of their daughter and the parents are now painfully planning Sadie’s future without them.

Family and friends have created a Web page to help raise money for the Bay Ridge couple.

The blog features heartwarming family photos and a wedding video that shows the smiling couple with all the promise of a bright future.

The site has so far raised $25,000 for medical expenses and daycare, enfolding the couple in an embrace of love and support, so they can focus on healing.

“We started getting calls from strangers that heard about this and want to help out; it’s just amazing that this type of situation has brought out so much good will,” relative Lauren Weiner told WCBS 880’s Sean Adams.

In an e-mail, Elisa Bond said, “We are at the very beginning of this journey; a journey we pray we will travel with grace and one we are grateful to be traveling with the support and love our family, friends and even kind strangers.”

You can help them fight their battle by donating HERE.
