Organs for sale...
The following links to an article relating how a Belgian woman opted for assisted suicide and donated her organs;

My first question is how long will it be before that "donation" is involuntary but won't be proven because (surprise!) the only witness will be the deceased? How long before involuntary euthanasia (already practiced in the Netherlands) is coupled with the greed for a ready supply of organs?
If anyone thinks it can't happen here, nice try. We've already got the ground set, our Culture of Death romanticizes such "sacrifice" as detailed in the linked article. It won't be long now before the bad guys will be either the ill patients who choose life, no matter how difficult, as a gift from God. Another set of "evildoers" will be those wanting to keep their loved ones alive in situations where they're deemed to have an "unacceptable quality of life" (Hello, Terri Schiavo).
So far today I've blogged about the acceptance of female circumcision, the sale of virginity via reality TV, and this. My stomach can't take much more.
