About the problem of airborne terrorists...
Has anyone thought of consulting the Israelis as to how they handle the problem?
When was the last time you heard of an El Al plane being hijacked or blown out of the sky?
Whatever they're doing gets results.

They just don't let certain people board with or without good reason. You can't even get a Visa if you are related to a non-ally.
Whatever they're doing we ought to copy.
Exactly. They're not afraid to use profiling in addition to other security measures...and they have air marshals on ALL of their flights.
I think we also need a law that won't admit anyone on a plane coming into this country unless they 've been given security checks that fit quality standards...not the crappy standards we have now.
Most of the luggage that goes on our domestic flights are never checked and when they are, they are barely given a look over. They unzip the bag and shove their hand inside and pull it right out. That's it. If there isn't a bomb on the top layer, it will slip right by them. O'Hare in Chicago is the worst of the big airports.
Here's your answer chief.
