Fort Hood; how many more times?

I don't know where to begin.

For two days I've had this topic in my mind. Two days alternating between disgust and outrage. Disgust at the continued blindness of our politicians and their lapdog MSM. Outrage that this could happen on American soil, to American military members with so little hue and cry over it.

May God have mercy on the souls of the dead and on their families. The only wish I have regarding the perpetrator of this atrocity is that he fully recover and be turned over to the families of his victims, both living and dead, given to their custody for one hour apiece. Experience with military families leads me to believe they'll deliver the best justice on his sorry ass.

Too bad that wish is futile.

Now, about our politically correct politicians (they're not leaders, they couldn't lead a Girl Scout Troop to sell cookies).

When the hell do the blinders come off and they start identifying Islam as the problem? This willful denial began with G.W. Bush chirping how it was a "religion of peace" immediately after 9/11/01. If it's a religion then dynamite sticks are birthday candles.

These are just the fatalities, it isn't a listing of anything nipped in the bud. That list would include "...the Colorado resident Najibullah Zazi who was recently indicted for conspiring to use explosives in the U.S., apparently as part of a plot to let off a bomb in New York on the anniversary of 9/11. In addition, North Carolina residents Daniel Patrick Boyd and Hysen Sherifi were arrested and charged with conspiring to murder U.S. military personnel at Quantico, Virginia. In Texas, Hosam Maher Husein Smadi — a 19-year-old Jordanian citizen who was in the U.S. illegally — was arrested and charged after he placed a would-be bomb near Fountain Place, a 60-story office tower in downtown Dallas.Most recently in Boston, a Massachusetts man was arrested in connection with terrorist plots that included attacks on U.S. shopping malls and on two White House officials. Tarek Mehanna, 27, of Sudbury, Mass, was charged with plotting with other terrorists from 2001 to May 2008 to carry out overseas and domestic terrorist attacks — including killing shoppers and first responders at malls." If all of these incidents involved Presbyterians do you think there'd be no connection made by any national politicians? Would there be this constant professed bafflement about possible motive? How many Presbyterians could commit murder under the guise of mental illness and not have their religious faith called into question?

Why the hell do the followers of the pedophile prophet get such kid glove treatment? As already mentioned, it started under Bush. THAT has always baffled me, in many ways I thought he had his head up his ass but never doubted his commitment to the nation's well being. But he kept on kissing muslim ass whenever some incident came to light.

Now we've got a new occupant in the Oval Office. No surprise that he's much worse in this respect. This particular quote taken from an article on http://www.ft.com/ is indicative; "We don’t know all the answers yet, and I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all the facts.” I'd link to the article but it allows two views and then requires subscribing to the site. I'm sure that quote is available elsewhere.

"...until we have all the facts." Just what the hell more is needed anyway? How many more American lives get sacrifice on the altar of political correctness before our politicians do their damned jobs and MOVE TO PROTECT THE PEOPLE OF THIS NATION?

So where the hell do we go from here? How much longer before we start organizing vigilante committees? Those gems of civic involvement come about when the local citizens feel their legal system is letting them down. That's pretty much where we're at right now. Our system isn't just letting us down, it's placing us in harm's way by the pandering and inaction towards a threat to the public safety.

Maybe it's time to organize a few citizen patrols. I'm as serious as a heart attack. Our politicians are too busy engaging in treason to spare a thought for your and I.

If it isn't treason, what the hell is it? How long do we go on with the willful blindness and denial before we shout, "ENOUGH!!"

Remember when the abortionist George Tiller was shot? Remember how the Justice Dept. scrambled to insure the safety of abortion facilities across the nation? WELL WHY THE HELL ISN'T SOMETHING ALONG THOSE LINES BEING DONE NOW AS REGARDS THE FOLLOWERS OF THE PEDOPHILE PROPHET?

Oh by the way, what about the rest of the Muslim community in this country? Why the hell is there such silence coming from them? There have been incidents where some would raise their voices to protest actions like this but nowhere near enough. There have also been incidents where decent muslims have become informants against their rabid coreligionists too, but there is just too much silence coming from that community as a whole. Silence, and cries of victimhood. Even now the usual suspects are drumming up charges of "islamophobia" and "hate-filled backlash" with no evidence of either.

Yes, there are decent muslims just as there are horrendous Catholics. But the number of atrocities committed in this time and country by ANY devout member of ANY Christian denomination can be numbered on the fingers of one hand and probably minus the thumb.

The continued neglect of public safety in the interests of political correctness is enough to gag a maggot. It's treasonous, plain and simple.

I'm starting to repeat myself, it happens when anger makes me irrational. So this is the end of the post.
