About Me

My photo
A Catholic who follows Rome & the Magisterium. I'm against gay "marriage", abortion, embryonic stem cell research, euthanasia, human cloning. Altar girls, Communion in the hand, Eucharistic Ministers and "Protestant" music in the Church doesn't bother me at all. A proud American retired submarine sailor. Our borders should be secured with a 10 ft. high fence topped by concertina wire with minefields out to 20 yards on both sides and an additional 10 yards filled with warning signs outside of that Let's get energy independent NOW! Back Israel to the max, stop appeasing followers of the Pedophile Prophet. Pro 2nd Amendment, pro death penalty, Repeal all hate crime legislation. Back the police unless you'd rather call a hippie when everything hits the fan. Get government out of dealing with education, childhood obesity and the enviornment. Stop using the military for sociological experiments and if we're in a war don't micromanage their every move. Kill your television, limit time on the computer and pick up a book. God's will be done and may He have mercy upon us all.

Let's grow a set...

From the Catholic News Agency-USCCB: "reversal of Mexico City Policy is very disappointing"

Lead sentence in an article in the NY Times-"Vatican officials said Saturday they were disappointed by President Barack Obama's decision to end a ban on federal funding for international groups that perform abortions or provide information on them."

"Disappointing"? "...disappointed"?

WTF!!

When does the Church grow a set, rear back on it's hind legs and start barking like a hungry Doberman after he smells raw meat?

How do they expect anyone to take it seriously when this is the strongest language used? The quilting ministry my wife is in uses stronger language than that when someone forgets the donuts!

We're talking about the resumed funding of abortions, isn't it time for some harsh words? How about some denial of the Eucharist to proabort "Catholic" politicians (hello Nancy Pelosi & Joe Biden). Let's get some fire and brimstone from the pulpits!

Where's Torquemada when we need him?

UPDATE, The beat goes on:Colorado bishops: Obama's reversal of Mexico City Policy "profoundly unfortunate" (from the Catholic News Agency).

If I were a Priest, which I am not, but, if I were, I would do exactly what the Most Rev. Gregori said he would do.

What puzzles me is, me,I left the Lutheran Church after being baptized in it 60+ years ago because of it's liberal leanings,Pro Abortion,Homosexuality,Illegal Immigration and the list goes on. I have very good friends within the church, with whom I have discussed these issues and they agree with me but, stay in the church.

This is not a Lutheran, Catholic thing. My best friend is Jewish and he is appalled at the liberal Jewish people in New York who embrace Hillary, the Hun.

Are we the odd man out, stuborn, stupid, or like Rush Limbaugh says, the "last man standing"?

Can you say Crusades?

Oh, I got off on my Rant and forgot to add I agree with Subvet, 100%. Where is the Fire and Brimstone in the pulpit.

I found mine at a local Bible Church run by a retired Lt. Colonel Chaplin from the Army. This guy tells it like it is! Fess up, stand up, or go home,(to hell). But get a set of cahonies! Is that a word? Maybe Hebrew, my friend uses it all the time.

it's cajones Pops and it's Spanish for BALLS!!!

Yes, I totally agree, without STRONG dissaproving language, STRONG teaching of right and wrong, STRONG morals we're gonna be traveling down that slide with em.

Priests and the rest of Church leaders need to come out and say. Abortion is WRONG and you're damned if you support it, at least till you've righted yourself.

Well, "MightyMom" said pretty much I was gonna say, includin the spellin and definition of "cajones".

One of the best messages I've ever received regarding turning to God in times of sadness and loss came from a young little boy. I posted about this amazing young man on Saturday's post (This touched me"). Had he been aborted, or let me say what it really is, killed, I and many others would not have received his deeply touching communique.

I also read recently where the Catholic church found the "Obamessiah" to be ARROGANT regarding his views on abortion. Gee...ya think?!
