Giving Thanks
Things/people I'm thankful for;
My wife aka The War Department. She's the mortar that holds the bricks of our family together. A highly talented, beautiful lady who is so unconditionally in love with my fat cranky ass.
My job. Where else could I get paid for sitting around in hot standby, blogging away and getting paid for it?
My in-laws. Besides bringing The War Department into the world they've accepted me, especially her father. I believe that when a man sees his daughter-in-law he sees the woman his son loves, but when he sees his son-in-law he sees the rat bastard thats been humping his little girl. With that in mind I really appreciate the way my FIL has accepted me.
My children. Everytime I see them smile at me I know God really does exist.
My Church. It ain't perfect but it helps me get in touch with the Higher Power I know as God.
Our military. I believe it's because of them that my family will be sleeping safely tonight.
Our country. Most of those who read this have spent time overseas and know the truth of my stating it's the best in the world.
The fellow bloggers who come to this site. Cookie, Sonarman, Ignorant Redneck, Vigilus, Falcon_01 and whoever else I've inadvertently missed. You all help me understand what a crazy world this is and how to cope.
Happy Thanksgiving.
