For what it's worth, I've no use for Michael Savage. He's a rabble rousing, vile spewing pinheaded cretin. Just my opinion.

And I've been puzzled over the whole Don Imus flap. Back in '76 when I transferred to Connecticut I was enthusiastically told about his rants, how he would insult everyone and never hesitated to take on racial stereotypes. This came from a black sailor too. True to what he said, Imus always was incorrect and insulting. He never changed but the times did. So when they took him down it marked another notch on the gun of the PC left. So much for freedom of speech.

If we're going to have true freedom of speech/expression we have to put up with everyone, not just people we agree with. Having freedom of speech means swallowing a lot of discontent when someone else exercises theirs. We've just got to deal with it!

And thats something a lot of supposedly "liberal" thinkers have to learn.
