Texas vet needing assistance.
Here's a story about a local Texas man who could use some help.
This quote stuck with me, "I hope there comes a day when you're treated as well when you get out of the military as you are when you're in the military, but that's just not happening," she said."I don't think anybody should have to struggle, but certainly not someone who laid their life on the line every day, just to come home and be treated like this. That's just not right,".........
I couldn't agree more. Like most civilians she may not realize the military only has so much money to spend and has to make difficult choices. The money given to them by Congress, you know, the group that gets free quality medical care for life after they've served a few terms in Foggy Bottom.
This soldier is someone to keep in mind the next time I see Teddy Kennedy waddle his fat butt up to the podium to give his standard, "American forces bad, everyone else good" speech.
