Our bravest and our best.
As long as we have men like this our country will never be defeated from without. Here's a very telling quote;
The men who were there that day say they could see the options flicker across Michael Monsoor's face: save himself or save the men he had long considered brothers.
He chose them.
God bless our troops, no matter where they are. No matter what they do. They're what keeps my family sleeping safe at night.

I agree 100%. I wrote about this brave young man a while back.
Michael Monsoor
I didn't have that particular bit of information, but the report did say they were holed up in a tight spot, and the grenade bounced off his chest, so there was no doubt in my mind that's what went through his mind, because that's what I would've done.
Not because I'm a hero (oh, far from it!), but because it was the only logical choice to make, and you don't run out on your buddies - NO. MATTER. WHAT.
Thank God for men like Michael, and I'm glad he's going to get what he deserves
Sonarman, good to hear from you again!
