Now this should prove damned interesting. Wonder if they're coming to Texas? Probably not, this is a right-to-work state and union presence is minimal.

When I was a working man, I had to belong to a union, because Caterpillar Inc. was a closed shop. However, if I could start my life over, I would only work in a place where union membership was optional. The unions have become or always have been socialistic enterprises. They support gay rights,abortion, and other disgusting things. These things have nothing to do with protecting workers from unsafe working conditions or economic exploitation. Nobody should be forced to belong to an organization that violates him moral principals.
I live in MD. Perhaps, I should just not answer the door.
Steve, my experience with unions hasn't been exclusively good or bad. But having been in the military for 22 years I'll say that they are DEFINETLY not needed for the workingman to survive.
