I can't imagine being a parent who sent their child to a summer camp and hearing of how some nutcase gunned down my kid. Talk about Hell on Earth.
A related observation, the bastard responsible is being portrayed as a right-wing, fundamentalist Christian Islamophobe. Now there is a handy excuse for the Nanny State to put our asses under a microscope. Look for it to happen too. We've already seen the FBI given seminars on the "violent" prolife movement, had the DHS send a memo to all police stations in the nation regarding the likelihood of "right-wing extremists" committing terrorist acts, etc.
They'll jump at the opportunities this tragedy provides them.
Now the persecution begins in earnest. I shit you not.

It's all unfolding before our eyes. The not so gradual slide to a world wide restriction on "fundamentalism" and the demands that we all just get along and embrace a one world religion. By referring to several faiths as "fundamentalist" the Godless are able eliminate the distinctions between those faiths and just lump them all together under the category of "craziness" I'm even seeing it now in "Christian" blogs, talk of our supposed ties with Islam through Islam's calling Jesus a "great prophet" and we as Christians knowing him as he truly is, God himself.There is no connection between true Christianity and Islam. Islam is a man made and Satan inspired attempt to appease an angry god and Christianity is, the one true God, reaching down to mankind and offering him a way to have a relationship with himself.
WHT, don't discount the coming persecution of the Jews either. You and yours are the canaries in civilization's coal mine.
Bill, amen to all of that. Islam is exactly the opposite of Christianity, regardless of what the "can't we all just get along" crowd wish.
Since these things are either of God or Satan and God certainly isn't a factor in Islam we can bet the ultimate aims of it's adherents aren't in our best interests.
