Well that one didn't work worth a hoot...
First I was going to give up all use of the computer for Lent. But then I realized my men's group from church used emails to communicate and we've got an upcoming retreat in less than two weeks. So I compromised and figured "email only".
Then I discovered some work I'm doing for the retreat requires extensive research. Since I don't live in a library (and our libraries don't have a lot of the necessary material anyway) that meant use of the internet was required to do a decent job.
Then I got a couple of hyperlinks in my emails for information on topics of the emails.
Screw it. I'll do an extra five decades of the rosary every day instead.

Adrienne, you're right. It was kind of ridiculous, given how much I've come to depend on this thing.
