Clearing my cranial cobwebs...

The Gulf Oil Spill-Now the government is opening criminal investigations. Nobody is going to be satisfied until someone else's ass is on the line for this. Didn't anyone ever hear of "Shit happens"? My personal opinion is that it was inevitable we'd have an accident on a deep sea rig sooner or later. Yep, there were problems noted with the blowout prevention device shortly before it failed but when you're talking about working at 5K feet it isn't the same as crawling under your car to change the oil. Let's get the damned thing stopped and then worry about how to prevent it from happening again.

The Israeli Commandos vs. Flotilla of "Peace" Activists-Wonder how soon somebody will call for the arrest of Prime Minister Netanyahu for war crimes when he next visits a major Western power? The Turks are sending another ship up against the blockade. The ship is named after Rachel Corrie, the dingbat who got crushed while protesting the bulldozing of Palestinian houses. If they can send a ship named after her to go up against Israel, I suggest one named "John Deere" to intercept it.

North Korea vs. South Korea-A nation of the starving led by a maniac intent on conquering the nation to the south. Since B.O. has shown to be spineless and no other country (China or Russia) will step up to the plate for Seoul, it doesn't look particularly good.

The Economy-Unemployment is still at ten percent. No end in sight. With the problems in the EU concerning Greece right now, IMO it could get one Hell of a lot worse. In short order too.

Arizona vs. the dingbat elites-How could so many of a state's residents be racist for approving of enforcing immigration laws already on the books? Here's a thought, there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to secure our borders in order to better ensure life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for AMERICAN CITIZENS!

Our Culture of Death-Why do so many the same folk who piously deplore abortion turn right around and objectify women by drooling all over the keyboard for the new Miss America? It's all from the same cloth fellows, take it from an old lecher. If all you think about is how smoking hot some babe is you're probably not dreaming how she'll drop to her knees to pray the rosary with you. You might want her to kneel, but not for that!

Personal Note-I never thought I'd make it to thirty. Now I'm contending with being fifty-seven and the father of three young children. It's a great life as long as you don't weaken.
