Gays in the military...
One question that comes to mind; if it's a problem for straight men to sleep in the same quarters as women, why is there nothing wrong with having gay men sleeping in the same quarters as other men? The whole issue is about sexual attraction/desire, right?
That same question would apply to lesbian women in the military.
As for showering together, I'll leave that alone for now.

I think it's all political. They can serve right now and they do not have to lie because no one is asking. They can keep their secret. So this having to lie bit is a big drama. Why does anyone have to broadcast that he's gay? Just consider when you're sharing showers with someone who likes men then he gets a hard on upon seeing you. Wouldn't that be uncomfortable? People will feel threatened and can react violently.
what in the hell is the big deal,gay strait,lesbian.all shed RED BLOOD when wounded.I do not understand what the fuss is about.
