Obama speaking to schoolchildren...
Here's the "to do" list, as found via Drudge; http://www.docstoc.com/docs/10582301/President-Obama’s-Address-to-Students-Across-America-September-8-2009
I'm of two minds on this. Having the President encourage school kids to stay in school, achieve an education and aspire to be their best is a good thing. I recall JFK aimed his physical fitness program at grade schoolers (remember the term, "JFK's"?). Even though he didn't have access to the TV as much as B.O., I'm sure he would have done the same if possible.
So it isn't necessarily a bad thing.
But we now have a Chief Executive with an elitist, arrogant approach to We The People. Personally I wouldn't trust the man as far as I could throw him. So for that reason I'd REALLY pay attention to what he says and also to how the majority of teachers address it with their students.
In my own case it probably isn't as big a deal as for others. My oldest boy is in kindergarten this year, he's somewhat autistic so whatever is said will go right over his head. No problem with indoctrination there!
Nevertheless, this is something to pay attention to.
