About Me

My photo
A Catholic who follows Rome & the Magisterium. I'm against gay "marriage", abortion, embryonic stem cell research, euthanasia, human cloning. Altar girls, Communion in the hand, Eucharistic Ministers and "Protestant" music in the Church doesn't bother me at all. A proud American retired submarine sailor. Our borders should be secured with a 10 ft. high fence topped by concertina wire with minefields out to 20 yards on both sides and an additional 10 yards filled with warning signs outside of that Let's get energy independent NOW! Back Israel to the max, stop appeasing followers of the Pedophile Prophet. Pro 2nd Amendment, pro death penalty, Repeal all hate crime legislation. Back the police unless you'd rather call a hippie when everything hits the fan. Get government out of dealing with education, childhood obesity and the enviornment. Stop using the military for sociological experiments and if we're in a war don't micromanage their every move. Kill your television, limit time on the computer and pick up a book. God's will be done and may He have mercy upon us all.

"Catholic" my ass!!

Another quisling Catholic/Christian joins the team of B.O. ;

Washington D.C., Jun 4, 2009 / 02:31 pm (CNA).- Alexia Kelley, Executive Director of "Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good,” one of the pro-Obama Catholic organizations that strongly supported the appointment of the former Kansas governor Kathleen Sebelius as Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), has been named Director of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships for the HHS. (Part of her thirty pieces of silver...)

Kelley co-founded Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good (CACG) in 2005 and co-authored with Chris Korzen, "A Nation for All: How the Catholic Vision of the Common Good Can Save America from the Politics of Division."

Both Kelley and Korzen have supported controversial political decisions and appointments made by the Obama administration, including the suspension of the Mexico City Policy and the decision to allow federally-funded embryonic stem cell research. Kelley and Korzen lent their support despite both measures drawing criticism from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. (Just how do they square calling themselves "Catholic" with a track record like this?)

The pair of political activists also created the website www.catholicsforsebelius.org to promote the confirmation of the pro-abortion Catholic Kathleen Sebelius as Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. (Another quisling.)

The campaign was conducted in spite of the fact that Sebelius' own bishop, Archbishop Joseph Naumann, asked her to refrain from receiving Holy Communion because of her support for abortion. Kelley and Korzen contended that while Sebelius is pro-choice, “she is personally opposed to abortion and has worked to reduce the number of abortions in the very red state where she, a pro-choice Democrat, was elected twice as governor.” (Terrific. "I won't kill my kids but will stand by while you kill yours." How very nonjudgmental.)

In a statement issued on Thursday, CACG congratulated Kelley “on this distinguished appointment,” and offered its “deepest appreciation for her tireless service to Catholics in Alliance over the past several years.”

“In her new position, Kelley will play a critical role empowering faith communities across the nation to advance a bold agenda for health care reform that ensures all American families have the affordable and quality care they deserve. Inspired by our faith’s teaching that health care is a human right central to serving the common good, Catholics will continue to be front and center in this critical effort,” the statement says.

Vicky Kovari, the National Field Director for Catholics in Alliance, has been named Interim Executive Director.

“At a time when millions lack health care, (is it health care or health insurance they lack?) immigrants are often demonized as ‘aliens’ (only the illegal ones) and the silent genocide of poverty (WTF? Is this fool aware that there's an epidemic of OBESITY amongst our "poor"?) shames a nation committed to equal opportunity, our core mission remains as vital as ever,” Kovari said.

She also addressed the issue of abortion, saying, “We are also poised to make real progress on preventing and reducing abortion. We are committed to finding common ground on this critical issue.” (How do you make "common ground" with evil?)

Is there ANY Catholic in the present administration that is faithful to Rome and the Magisterium? Anyone of them that follows Church teaching? From all indications the answer would be "NO!".

I'm not going to propose a grand conspiracy theory behind this. I'll just make note that like runs to like. So when you've a strongly proabort boss in the White House he's probably going to unconsciously pick others who have thinking similar to his own. Whatever.

Even if it's not intentional, a consequence of this will be that when those of us more faithful to Rome start getting hammered for our stands, B.O. will be able to point to his "tame" Catholics and claim there is absolutely no animosity towards Catholicism. He'd be right too. Because his understanding of it, as provided by this group of toadies, will be that you can be Catholic and not possess a spine.

Don't think that we might get relief in 2012 either. B.O. is merely an indication of how our culture's overall character (or lack of). Even if he isn't reelected you can bet the next occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. will continue on with the marginalization of Christian beliefs/practices.

What's with the gutless bishops Subvet? A Catholic (or Orthodox Christian) CAN'T VOTE FOR ABORTION!

"Ask not receive communion." I'd excommunicate every last one of them. Why is "Anathema" a dirty word now?

This is intentional - no doubt about that at all...

(How do you make "common ground" with evil?) The Republican party has been doing it for years, it is called 'BIPARTISANSHIP'.

(Just how do they square calling themselves "Catholic" with a track record like this?) The same way so many call themselves Christian while supporting abortion, same-sex marriage and all other deviant behavior. I guess being Catholic or Christian today just isn't what it used to be.
