Over at The Black Sphere there's a post regarding repeal of the 22nd Amendment. Seems a Congressional Representative has authored some legislation for that purpose. For those not up on what the 22nd is all about (I wasn't), it limits Presidents to two terms in office. Kind of safeguards us from becoming a dictatorship.

Anyway, this Congressional nitwit is pushing for an end to the 22nd for the umpteenth time. He'd done it since 1997 so the man himself doesn't necessarily drink anyone's Kool-Aid.

However since B.O. has come to office some disturbing trends have begun, they include;

1) The continuing love affair between B.O. and the MSM. I'd have thought the newsies would be tired of lapdog status by now and would show some teeth to their "master". It ain't happening. Not yet anyway.

Along with this I'll note the bias in the MSM. I've gotten a taste of it here from a supposedly conservative newspaper (Dallas Morning News) and their non coverage of pro life legislation being debated in the state legislature. There has been zippo word on any of it up to a month ago, since that time I've cancelled my subscription so I'm not certain if it changed. Wouldn't hold my breath though.

The only way I was able to follow the legislation was to do the legwork myself, check out the state senate website every few days and just get motivated. Let's be honest folks, how many of us know that has to be done in order to stay informed on ANY topic? Prior to this year I certainly didn't.

2) The rift between traditional Christians and their liberal counterparts on the topic of B.O., seems the libs drink that Kool-Aid by the gallon. This would fit in nicely with anyone trying to marginalize the influence of organized religion in the USA. As an example look at the chorus of Catholic yes men eagerly defending everything about B.O., once this administration gets enough of them you can bet there will be some actions directed against those who speak out against our Abortionist in Chief. So unless the American people wake the hell up we just might see a repeal of the 22nd Amendment.
