B.O. kissing Muslim butt.

Well after the incident of the other day where B.O. was shown bowing to the head of Saudi Arabia it would only be natural to see what else might develop vis-a-vis the Muslim world.

We haven't had to wait long;

ANKARA, TURKEY (AP) - Barack Obama, making his first visit to a Muslim nation as president, declared Monday the United States "is not and will never be at war with Islam." (Nope, all those fools that keep crossing the borders into Iraq & Afghanistan to fight our troops are actually Methodists. Sure they are.)

Calling for a greater partnership with the Islamic world in an address to the Turkish parliament, Obama called the country an important U.S. ally in many areas, including the fight against terrorism. He devoted much of his speech to urging a greater bond between Americans and Muslims, portraying terrorist groups such as al Qaida as extremists who did not represent the vast majority of Muslims.

"Let me say this as clearly as I can," Obama said. "The United States is not and never will be at war with Islam. In fact, our partnership with the Muslim world is critical ... in rolling back a fringe ideology that people of all faiths reject." (Which is why Al Qaida is unable to find support anywhere. Yep. Noted.)

The U.S. president is trying to mend fences with a Muslim world that felt it had been blamed by America for the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. (Why should WE be trying to mend fences? Yes, when the President speaks in this fashion he's speaking for the entire country, like it or not. We all get tarred by the brush of his big mouth. Again I ask, why should we be trying to mend fences?)

Al Jazeera and Al Arabiyia, two of the biggest Arabic satellite channels, carried Obama's speech live.

Obama said the partnership between the U.S. and the Muslim world is critical in rolling back what he called a fringe ideology that people of all faiths reject.

"America's relationship with the Muslim world cannot and will not be based on opposition to al Qaida," he said. "We seek broad engagement based upon mutual interests and mutual respect." (So when the hell does the "mutual" part start on their behalf?)

"We will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over so many centuries to shape the world for the better, including my own country," Obama said. (This is complete bullshit and he has to know it. Just when have muslims done "so much" for the USA?)

Obama also said, to a round of applause, that the United States supports Turkey becoming a member of the European Union. (We'll be kissing every muslim ass possible at this rate.)

After reading about his Secretary of State's visit to China where she downplayed the issue of human rights, I won't be holding my breath on the 24th of this month.

One of the accusations often fired at supporters of Bush & Reagan was their turning a blind eye to human rights abuses in countries where it suited our interests. Many of these accusations actually had a lot of merit.

But B.O. is taking it to another level and it isn't a good one.

As far as kowtowing to the followers of the pedophile prophet, he's really going for the gold here. Think of this Turkish visit, his bow to the Saudi Prince, his "reaching out" to Iran, etc. The list goes on and on.

IMHO this isn't like Ford & Carter implementing detente with the Soviets. They at least would give lip service to peaceful coexistence. The Islamists don't. They're out to rule the world according to their cult's laws in any way they can. While they're incredibly stupid in the execution of it, useful idiots in positions of leadership throughout the world make them many times more dangerous than they'd be otherwise.
