Just when you hoped you'd seen it all...
Crap like this surfaces; http://www.cnn.com/2009/TECH/03/27/videogame.losing.virginity/index.html
Its about a contest to create a concept for a video game about losing one's virginity. Just what I'd want to see on the shelves of WalMart!!!
Dear God, where does it all end?

in Hell,

It was a creative exercise, not real product development. Get a clue.
Anonymous,
Get a clue! a "creative excercise" with such a topic holds as much contempt for morality and consequences as product development. And, there have been games and modules for existing games developed that allow for both sexual activity within the game, and explicite depictions there of.
Heck--in GTA one could get heath points by renting a hooker!
I agree totally that decency and common sense have gone out the window and news agencies should NOT be helping business capitalize on the things that can bring a society down. It's not about creativity, it's about money. Money doesn't care about morals or the people that it uses. It doesn't care about character or the downfall of a nation. Right up till the end they will be playing their fiddle of whatever brings in the money, till they wonder what happened. Only God can turn us around now. No one else could stop our self destruction.
Anonymous, these "creative exercises" are never used as the genesis of new games/toys/consumer items.
Nope. Not ever. Uh-uh. Not happening.
Noted.
