"Pornography now threatens to redefine the way this society views sex itself."
Full disclosure; while I was on active duty, porn was a normal feature underway. There were Playboy pinups posted on much of the machinery, many boats had a "smut king" who maintained his own "library". He didn't carry "Winnie The Pooh", at least not the version written by A.A. Milne. One CPO quarters to which I belonged even had a selection of smut flicks. Kipling had it right when he stated, "Single men in barracks don't grow into plaster saints..."
Despite that, if I had to do it over again I'd be the boat Puritain wherever I was stationed. Seeing how society has evolved over the years changed my views. You're a part of the solution or a part of the problem.
Here's an article that sums it up neatly; http://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2009/feb/09022601.html
