On the paranoia of Christian persecution.
Via the Ignorant Redneck I found this post; http://blog.beliefnet.com/crunchycon/2008/11/kill-a-christian-earn-250.html#more
What got my attention were the comments. If the majority of those made about Christians were made concerning any ethnic minority or any group in a sexual minority the words "hate crime" would fly out so fast it would make your head spin. Granted the commenters are probably permanent adolescents but the level of vitriol gets my attention.
I don't watch TV. Did this ever make the evening news? It's been floating around since the end of November.
Some days I wonder if I might be getting just a wee bit paranoid about the future persecution of the truly Christian amongst us. Then I read crap like this.
As the old joke has it; "Even paranoids got enemies."

If you live your faith, you will be persecuted. Period.
Here what I told these butt pirates:
"Let me guess JPL et al. You didn't get enough love at home? Where's all this tolerance and diverrrrrrrrrrsity we're always hearing about? You have morals that would shame a baboon, and being called a bigot by a bigot like you is a compliment. State religion is the USA?! That's funnier than Richard Pryor."
sig94, that becomes more apparent every day.
Vir, I admire your restraint!
