Another "reason" to justify abortion.
This one has been around for a while, but apparently it's moving from the realm of the moonbat to mainstream thinking; Two children should be limit, says green guru
The UK has apparently gone off the rails on buying into the culture of death. They ration healthcare (government provided, as many idiots push for here) according to a cost effectiveness formula. If you're too old for it to be profitable to John Bull your medical procedure is denied. They've also a leading bioethicist (?) who promotes suicide by those too sick/old to recover. Now this dingbat is moving mandatory population control into the mainstream.
We here in the USA seem to have the problem of following after the UK & Europe in many areas. Our resident moonbats often argue quite successfully that we should follow their example. Must be some sort of cultural inferiority complex, we saved their bacon from the Soviets, Nazi's and the Kaiser's Germany, our culture sets the pattern for all to follow (except when France tries banning McDonalds) yet we're like the redheaded stepchild that goes through life looking for parental approval. We need to grow up and accept the fact that the "intelligentsia" of the rest of the developed world never has liked us, doesn't like us now and never will like us.
Aside from that, the inclination of our self-hating wingnuts will increasingly buy into the cultural suicide mentioned in the linked article. Hell, our Chief Executive is already on record as wanting to resume funding for worldwide abortions including the coerced ones in China. How far down the road are we to finding family size regulated by Uncle Sam? How long before having a number of children beyond what is accepted by some chair-polishing desk jockey in DC is will earn you a stiff penalty? Anyone thinking it isn't likely?
God save us all.

kinda reminds me of....um...CHINA!
I have a brother (Oh Lord, this is hard to admit), who actually believes all this nonsense. He just told me that the reason Mexico was so poor was because of over population.
I guess I don't need to tell you he is a lapsed Catholic.
Sub - don't tell your wife we've been "seeing each other". I've gotten to know her on Facebook and really like her. Wouldn't want to make her jealous or anything. LOL
Jonathon Porritt, who chairs the government’s Sustainable Development Commission, says curbing population growth through contraception and abortion must be at the heart of policies to fight global warming. He says political leaders and green campaigners should stop dodging the issue of environmental harm caused by an expanding population.
I say "Fine!"
Make it retroactive for idiots like Porritt. If he is the third child to be born in his family - off him.
Adrienne, mums the word.
Sig94, I think even the Pope could get behind that one!
