Found this story via Prolifeblogs But for some reason it isn't too easy to find on other sites. I'm not saying anything else. Yet.
JASPER, Ala. (AP) -- Authorities are investigating a fire bombing at a Catholic church in Jasper.
Officials say what appears to be a gasoline bomb was thrown against the front door of St. Cecilia Catholic Church early Sunday morning. The bomb caused a small blaze that left minor damage to the church.
Church pastor the Rev. David Buchanan said the church has received no threats. He said he has hired a security guard to patrol the church grounds at night.
Buchanan said he believes someone tried to throw the bomb through the front window of the church but a thick outer window prevented that.
The incident is being investigated by local, state and federal agents.

I do believe, that setting a church on fire or bombing it, is a federal crime, and has been since the 60s.
Any motive?
One of "my" Churches in LaCrosse, WI was vandalized with junk thrown through the window and they caught the punk. The motive was apparently because he was drunk/stoned.
