Things are ramping up...
Fr. Longenecker over at Standing On My Head has received an interesting email. Seems things are getting downright ugly now that more Catholics are speaking forcefully on the topics of abortion, euthanasia, stem cell research, homosexual marriage and cloning.
Were we all just supposed to go quietly along without uttering a peep when we're aware of the increasing self-destructive urge of our society to kill off the most defenseless? Maybe then we'd be allowed our churches, Communion wafers, rosaries, etc. without the derision of our self-styled betters. Guess we're too stupid to know when we're well off.
It'll get a lot worse, as the attacks against various houses of worship increase we can look for a hardening of attitudes on the part of the devout. These hardened attitudes will help in the issuing of more strongly worded affirmations of God's Word. It'll keep on snowballing.
I often use the phrase "the battle lines are being drawn", it appears they're almost complete. Soon the wheat will be seperated from the chaff, those denominations that support "women's reproductive rights" will be given a pass by the persecutors while those who follow the Word of God will suffer increasing vandalism, assault on their members, finances being placed under a microscope, all prominent members having their background gone over with a fine toothed comb for any dirt that can be used, etc.
That'll weed out some of the summer soldiers of this war, after that look for hate crime legislation being passed & vigorously enforced, wrist slaps for any criminal acts committed against the churches, constant vilification in the MSM, etc.
What happens after that is anyone's guess, I know we won't get fed to the lions. PETA would never allow it. Maybe we'll see churches closed by civil authorities, their congregations placed under the microscope by Child Protective Services (CPS) as a prelude to losing their children. After all, the state has an obligation to ensure parents don't pass on an ideology of hate & intolerance to their children (yes, thats sarcasm). What more effective way to silence dissent than to threaten taking away your children? Anyone familiar with the workings of CPS as it is now knows I'm NOT pumping moonshine.
Time to pick a side and stay with it.

Hey Shipmate, I think O'Reilly said it best the other night on his show regarding this exact same issue. Since Obama won the election, the "Secular Progressives" have become very emboldened regarding putting forth their philosophy's and have addapted an even stronger "in your face" approach.
There is little doubt that if good Christians from all over the nation, regardless of their various religions, don't come together and become pro-active, we're all in a world of shit.
If those heterophobes want to try any rough stuff with me, they should remember one thing: I am not a 70 year-old woman with a cross.
The rise in intensity of Catholicicophobia is a matter of concern.
Dependint on your "rite" of choice, you may have to appeal to rule .303,.30-06, 223, or 9 mm.
VSO--We'll watch out for your lung of the church, 'cause we know you'll be watching ours.
