About the Saddleback church forum.....
Obama shot himself in the foot with his evasive answers (determining the beginning of human life is above his pay grade), inability to speak as a public figure (could he hem and haw any more than he did?) and outright lies (claiming he was misrepresented by the NRLC).
In the end it won't make any real difference, we've been down this road before. Anyone who followed the election coverage back in 76 knew Carter was as full of shit as a Christmas goose. The man tried to be all things to all people. He was a buffoon and a walking stereotype about backwoods Southern hicks. None of that worked against him. His success in getting elected proved our electorate needs to be screened for a knowledge of current events before being allowed in the voting booth.
Obama will repeat history, disasterously I'm afraid. He could flub every public appearance from now until election night and the MSM will still cover his tail, the libs will still swoon at the thought of a black president and too damned many conservatives will sit out the election in a hissy fit over McCain's past screwups (he's had more than his share). In the end we'll see Obama taking the oath of office on the 20th of January.
Then all hell will break loose.
And I still haven't ruled out Hillary being his VP.

thanks for brightening my day darling.
Obama did himself some damage at Saddleback. Enough damage to lead to his defeat in November? Possibly, but I have my doubts that Obamamaniacs will see the truth about him until he's served as President.
