I've come across various stories regarding Catholic orphanages that were moral cesspools. But the depravity was always hidden from view of the general public, not paraded in plain sight for all to see.

Just to let you know you aren't the only one who has noticed the decline in media coverage of the GWOT. I too am concerned about the lack of coverage. What gets me is the lack of concern over it by the American Public. It seems if you don't have a military background, like you, or a family member like me, it's not even happening.
I agree with you the general public will go back to sleep until a new 9-11, then they will scream and holler what happening to us, and the us is United States.
