Savage is
For a long time I've considered Michael Savage a screaming rabblerouser. Seems you can't disagree with the man without him throwing everything including the kitchen sink at you. Not exactly conducive to bridging the ever-growing partisan gap in this country.
But he's definetly taking the fight to the idiots at CAIR. Gotta hand it to him, he's got guts and shows it.
This really caught my eye. Love the nuance of this statement, "I'm not gonna put my wife in a hijab. And I'm not gonna put my daughter in a burqa. And I'm not getting' on my all-fours and braying to Mecca. And you could drop dead if you don't like it. You can shove it up your pipe. I don't wanna hear any more about Islam. I don't wanna hear one more word about Islam. Take your religion and shove it up your behind. I'm sick of you."

I like him, he makes a lot of sense about many things in the current state of world affairs. I do not like his controlling of the conversations with his listeners though, I think he should let them babble ore than he does, especially those who do not agree; but then agagin that is one of the reasons we are in this mess - tolerance of the idiots who do not agree with a generalized morality, common courtesy, and common sense. Mr. Savage usually exhibits all of those qualities, and obviously does not tolerate lack of them in others. That to me seems a good thing today. Too bad we do not have someone with half his backbone running for the presidency.
