About Me

My photo
A Catholic who follows Rome & the Magisterium. I'm against gay "marriage", abortion, embryonic stem cell research, euthanasia, human cloning. Altar girls, Communion in the hand, Eucharistic Ministers and "Protestant" music in the Church doesn't bother me at all. A proud American retired submarine sailor. Our borders should be secured with a 10 ft. high fence topped by concertina wire with minefields out to 20 yards on both sides and an additional 10 yards filled with warning signs outside of that Let's get energy independent NOW! Back Israel to the max, stop appeasing followers of the Pedophile Prophet. Pro 2nd Amendment, pro death penalty, Repeal all hate crime legislation. Back the police unless you'd rather call a hippie when everything hits the fan. Get government out of dealing with education, childhood obesity and the enviornment. Stop using the military for sociological experiments and if we're in a war don't micromanage their every move. Kill your television, limit time on the computer and pick up a book. God's will be done and may He have mercy upon us all.

A magazine designed for the married man......

When I was single I used to read a lot of men's magazines. Nothing dirty, just all guy related. You know, "Men's Health", "Sports Illustrated", etc. The ones you could go to find out what color shirt goes with what suit? If the waiter is ogling your date do you take it as a compliment or deck the asshole? The ones that would deal with day to day problems and concerns men have.

Getting married changed that. Seems there's a real sparse selection of literature aimed specifically at the married man. I know you can always latch on to "Family" or "Parenting" but let's face it, those publications are designed for women and "girly men". I mean, how many guys really want to know the best way to carry on a conversation with a cranky three year old? 'Fess up fellas, we all try to bail on that one! But that's the sort of thing you'll come across in most publications.

But finally I've found one that is written for the married man. One that tells it like it is. And it's.......

I could probably get a job as a feature writer for that mag. How about, "Getting a second job, a profitable way to take the men out of menopause".

I could do a serial on that one.
