Two reasons to drill ANWR, build nukes, etc.

So the two thugs are chummy. Wonderful.

You know the only reason we pay any real attention to these twits is their oil. Yeah, I know Iran is also pushing for nukes but would they be so aggressive in that if they didn't have the petroleum clout they wield?

IMHO this is a primo example of why we need to get off the foreign oil habit. Let's make becoming energy independent our top domestic priority. Utilize nukes, shale, coal, wind, methane from cow crap, whatever it takes to accomplish this.

Because until we do we'll always be hostage to the whims of twits like these two. One is an idiot who believes his speech to the UN was accompanied by a magical aura emanating from his body. The other is one step above a savage who believes he smelled brimstone in the UN after Bush's visit. They're definetly not Churchill! Yet we'll treat them as if they're seriously worth our attention. Only because we want to keep "jonesing" on their oil.

These fools are two good reasons to get serious about domestic energy generation.
