Give 'em credit for nerve!!

This has to get some kind of award for chutzpah.

The line that caught my eye was;

They stressed that Muslims want the mosque to turn into an ecumenical temple, where Christians, Muslims and believers from other faiths might all be worshipping the same God.

Okay;

1) It isn't a mosque, it's a church and has been for several hundred years. Get over it.

2) It isn't the same God. The God of Christianity takes a dim view of beheading infidels, giving women second class citizenship, condoning slavery, etc. And He's always been understood to have those views. More so since the Protestant Reformation but even before then.

3) 800,000 against 44 million comes out to a little less than 2%. Shut up, go away and worship your stinking moon god in your mosque!
